Free tools for virtual environments

There are a lot of great tools out there which are incredibly helpful – and unbelievable but true – free of cost!

VEEAM Software

Veeam offers great software products for virtual environments – and many of them are free of cost! Here is a list of some of them:

Virtual Health Monitor | VMTurbo

Virtual Health Monitor is a free and unlimited virtualization monitoring and reporting tool. The software is distributed as a virtual appliance and works completely agent-less.

The tool connects to your vCenter server and captures all kinds of information about the virtual infrastructure.

The collected data is presented to you in an excel style spreadsheet: neatly lined up into columns and tabs – everything is easy to find and ready to analyse.
