VMware just released a patch for the issue descriped in KB 2048655 (ESXi host fails with a purple diagnostic screen and reports the error: #PF Exception 14 in world wwww:VMName IP 0xnnnnnn addr 0xnnnnn).

You can apply the patch through VMware Update Manager as usual.
If you have to install it manually download the ZIP file and install the VIB using the command “esxcli software vib”.
